Where is the family session held?

Sessions are held at stunning outdoor locations in Brasstown, NC, as well as in our studio. However, I'm also happy to explore other venues. If you'd like to schedule a family session at a different outdoor location, just reach out and let me know.
 

What should we bring along with us for the session?

Please bring your children's favorite toys with you. They help keep the little ones engaged and bring out their unique personalities in the photos.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I only schedule a limited number of shoots each month, so I’d love to hear from you as soon as possible. This gives us plenty of time to discuss color schemes and any other themes for your photoshoot.
 

What happens if I book a session and am not able to make it on that date due to unforeseen circumstances?

If unforeseen circumstances arise, I'm happy to reschedule your session once, as long as I receive at least 48 hours' notice. I’ll provide alternative date options to find a time that works best for you.

As for the weather, it’s always unpredictable, but we’ll move forward with the shoot unless there's a weather warning or unsafe conditions for an outdoor session. If it rains, we can wait for the weather to improve, and typically, the rain clears up quickly, allowing us to resume the shoot once it settles.

What should we be wearing?

I recommend that family members wear neutral colors like cream, beige, and other earth tones. Avoid patterns to keep the look simple, timeless, and elegant.
 

How long does a session take?

Family photo sessions typically last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
